I know that the idea of eggs and coffee sounds strange, but it tastes DELICIOUS! Vietnamese Egg Coffee, locally known as Cà phê trứng, is basically eggnog mixed with coffee and some sweetened condensed milk. The sweetened milk helps give the Tiramisu flavor. As with my Vietnamese Iced Coffee video, I used my AeroPress to brew the coffee. I can assure you that this Vietnamese Egg Coffee Recipe will excite your taste buds and leave you craving for more. Try this "Tiramisu in a Cup" today! Ingredients: 1 cup strong coffee 1 egg yolk 1 tablespoon sugar 1-2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk -In a bowl mix 1-2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk, 1 tablespoon sugar, egg yolk, and 1 teaspoon of brewed coffee with a mixer. -Pour 2/3 of brewed coffee into a mug -Pour mixture on to the coffee -Pour remaining 1/3 coffee over the mixture -Serve and enjoy!

I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a while. My wife just had our second baby this past weekend, and that took some of my time. With that being said I was able to film my wife swaddling so I thought I'd post it here. Swaddling a newborn baby is not only a work of art, it's an expression of love and care...if this sounds cheesy blame it on the 28 hour labor (my poor wife), but he was out in only 3 pushes. Anyway this "Baby Burrito" helps your child stay warm and secure during those few hours of sleep you get for the next 6 months. Another method involves the diagonal fold and tuck, fold up from under and tuck, then another diagonal fold and tuck. I hope you enjoy this video on how to swaddle a newborn baby. Procedure: Fold cloth diagonally Level shoulders with fold Fold over arm then tuck under Fold over other arm then tuck under Fold up from bottom Tuck under Snuggle with your beautiful baby I really enjoy Welch's Grape Juice, but I wanted to make some for myself. So if you wanted to know how to make homemade grape juice, this is the video for you. I didn't use Concord grapes for this recipe, but the procedure still applies for this process. Other recipes call for boiling the grapes and filtering it a couple times, but I just wanted a quick glass of grape juice. I also noticed that many street vendors will make grape juice in a blender right there on the street. They also add sugar but I didn't need the extra sweetness. Ingredients: 2 cups washed grapes 1 cup water Blend for 30 seconds Filter out the pulp Pour over some ice Enjoy! Try this QUICK AND EASY eggless mug brownie recipe that you can make in just 2 minutes! The prep time is just as fast. If you have a chocolate craving that needs to be satisfied quickly, then make yourself one of these brownies. Mug recipes are quite the rage and I can see why. 2 minute brownie in a mug...that's amazing! Ingredients: 2 tablespoons melted butter 2 tablespoons flour 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 2 tablespoons brown sugar A pinch of salt Vanilla extract Chocolate chips Mix your ingredients in a microwave safe bowl, set on high, and microwave for 1 to 2 minutes (depending on your wattage). Enjoy! I went to Jess Cafe, a Pan-Asian restaurant on the northwest side of Chicago, and ordered a delicious Vietnamese iced coffee. A friend of mine, who is Vietnamese, told me that it was very easy to make. So I decided to make it. If you also have wondered how to make Vietnamese iced coffee (also known as Cà phê sữa đá), then check out the recipe below or you can also click on the video. Ingredients: Strong brewed coffee (about 1 tablespoon coffee per 4 ounces of water) 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk Mix coffee with milk. Pour over some ice and serve! If using an AeroPress, press the coffee down gently. This imitates an authentic Vietnamese coffee press. This is a super simple coffee ice cream recipe. All you need is some heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, and very strong coffee (you can add some vanilla extract for a nice touch too). If you don't mind using a mixer for 10 minutes or waiting for it to chill, then this easy recipe of 3 ingredients is for you. Enjoy! Ingredients: 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk (7 ounces) 2-3 tablespoons of very strong coffee (or instant coffee) 1 pint heavy whipping cream 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional) Mix everything for 10 minutes until you get stiff peaks Put in freezer about 5 hours Serve and enjoy! |
