This chili recipe helped me win 1st place in my neighborhood's annual chili cook-off this year! It's a simple, 5 ingredient recipe that you can put into your slow cooker and leave for 7 hours. You use 2 types of meat: ground beef and chorizo. The best part about this is that you don't need to brown the meat before putting it into your crock pot. Feel free to do so if you want a low fat chili recipe, but that might hinder YOUR chances at winning first place. Try out this chorizo chili recipe this weekend and enjoy! If you're interested in the slow cooker I use, you can find it on my AMAZON PAGE right here: https://www.amazon.com/shop/influence... Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef 12 ounces chorizo 1 can undrained chili beans 2 cans undrained fire roasted diced tomatoes 1 can baked beans 6 hours low heat in slow cooker 1 hour high heat Top with sour cream and cheddar cheese

Fresh apples, autumnal spices, and clear water make up this tasty beverage. Walking home from work in the rain the other day made me appreciate the inviting scent of that warm drink. No special equipment is necessary for this seasonal sensation...unless you consider a slow cooker special of course. It's easy to put together, then let it stew for 9 to 10 hours and you have yourself an instant classic! I added a jar of cherries because I has a sip of cherry apple cider and it was INCREDIBLE. My version didn't have much of a cherry taste so be warned that you may need to have a hefty amount of cherries for that type of flavor. Try it out and enjoy a sip with a few of your closest friends. Ingredients: 10 apples quartered 1 orange quartered 1 cup sugar. Brown sugar works just as well. 4 to 5 cinnamon sticks 1 tablespoon nutmeg 1 tablespoon allspice 1 tablespoon cloves 1 tablespoon maple syrup Cherries are optional. If you want a very cherry flavor, then you'll need a few jars of them. 1/2 gallon water 9 hours on low heat Mash up apples then 1 hour on high heat Filter pulp Enjoy!
Here's a list of syrup recipes. I use a couple to add a Starbucksian flavor for my lattes. Try a few of them out. They are quite simple to make. They're basically a simple syrup with different flavors added to them. Enjoy!
