Boxed Cake Mix Improvements || 4 Cake Mix Hacks You may think that using a boxed cake is not really baking, or that it doesn't involve any creativity...but I am here to show you otherwise! This simple yellow cake mix is greatly improved with a few changes to the ingredients and the result is scrumptious. Using butter instead of oil...and more of it, makes this cake delicious and wonderfully rich. Switching out the water for milk also makes it super soft and creamy. And adding one more egg makes it even thicker. We also added vanilla for that perfect homemade taste. So if you are looking for a special dessert for Valentines Day, or you are looking for a way to jazz up that cake mix that has been sitting in your pantry for a while...here you go. We made this extra delectable with our homemade chocolate sauce. (A perfect way to use up leftover Christmas chocolate.)
