Make your own instant oatmeal at home using oats, a food processor, and some brown sugar. Any sort of dried fruit adds to your flavor, and enjoyment. The best part is that if you have a Keurig you won't need to worry about adding too much, or too little, water. This quick and healthy meal is great when you're on the run, or you have many people to serve at different times. The best part is that you save a TON of money using this breakfast meal prep. Try it out and enjoy! Ingredients: 5 cups oats 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt (per package) 1 tablespoon powdered milk (per package) 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (per package) Raisins In Bulk... In your food processor, pulse 2 cups of oats until it takes on the consistency of flour. Mix this with the remaining 3 cups of oats. Add brown sugar and mix until the clumps are removed. Each Packet... Use about 1/3 cup of your oats as a base for each package. Add salt. Add powdered milk (Nido is an excellent brand). Add cinnamon and raisins. Store in a mason jar or small Ziploc bags until needed. Serving... Set your Keurig to 4 ounces of water and start. Let hot water sit for about a minute, then mix and enjoy!
