Try this quick and simple biscuit recipe the next time you make soup or fry some chicken. Homemade biscuits are just as good (if not better) than what you'd get at KFC. Make sure not to mix it too much otherwise you wont get that light flaky feel to it. Ingredients: 2 cups flour (sifted) 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 tablespoons butter 3 tablespoons shortening Use pastry blender until "crispy" 3/4 cup milk Mix gently Roll out until 1/2 inch thick Cut out 2 inch circles Bake ate 450 °F for 8 to 10 minutes
