Kids love play dough (whether it's the name brand stuff or not). My mother-in-law, in all her wisdom, made some play dough for my 2 year old to distract him while his mother would feed our newborn. It has also been very helpful when I'm editing a video and he needs to get some of his creative juices flowing. I hope this homemade play dough recipe works for you as well. Ingredients: 1 cup cold water 1 cup flour 1/2 cup salt 2 tablespoons cooking oil 2 teaspoons cream of tartar Mix in low heat for 5 minutes Add a few drops of food coloring Knead dough Store in a plastic bag, and keep in a refrigerator Play with dough when you're ready to play
