Gulping garoyles! Halloween is fast approaching which means stylish costumes, themed parties, and delicious delectables. One beverage that I'm sure you'll find available this season is butterbeer. This drink is the non-alcoholic version, but is still quite tasty. So while your waiting for your Hogwarts letter to this weekend's celebration at the Three Broomsticks mix up a pint of butterbeer. If you're hosting a party, I'm sure that serving this will get you 10 points for Griffindor! Ingredients: MIXTURE 1 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoon water 5 tablespoon butter 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (or rum) extract CREAM 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream 2 tablespoons of mixture DRINK 1/4 cup mixture 12 oz cream soda top with cream FYI...I, personally, think that IBC Cream Soda tastes best with this recipe. Here's a link for it:

If you were to make an alcoholic version, what would you reccommend?

I've never made it with alcohol, but I have seen a few videos that have done so. I'll leave you a link to a recipe that dates all the way back to the 1500's. Thanks for watching :)
