Create a DELICIOUS caramel sauce with sugar, butter, milk, and some vanilla extract (but it's not a necessary one). Use it to make an ice cream sundae, or add it to your homemade latte to make a Caramel Macchiato. I've done both and they taste great. Ingredients: 1 cup sugar 2 tablespoons butter 3/4 cup heavy cream 1 tablespoon vanilla extract Spread sugar onto a non-stick frying pan and let it sit on high heat until it starts to melt. Swirl the pan around until everything melts and you get a nice brownish color. Turn off heat and add your butter. Let it melt and mix it into your sugar. Add some vanilla extract. Finally add your cream and mix. For a thinner sauce add some milk, or just put it in the microwave to soften.
