All you need is whipping cream (and some patience) to make this very British treat! Enjoy it with scones and some strawberry jam. Paired with a great cup of coffee you'll have yourself an amazing morning. Apparently there are 2 schools of thought when preparing your scones with clotted cream: The Devonian Method is to spread the cream first then add jam while the Cornish Method is the other way round. Any way you try it is quite enjoyable...in my humble opinion. Other names given to this delicious start to your day are clouted cream or scalded cream. Whatever your preference, I'm sure you love it! Ingredient: Heavy whipping cream Pour cream into a 9 by 13 inch baking dish. Heat oven to 180°F. Keep in oven for 12 hours. Remove from oven and bring to room temperature. Cover and place in refrigerator for 8 hours. Serve with scones and jam. Enjoy!
