I used to think Brussels sprouts were way too weird and overly healthy for me to eat. However, my sister introduced me to the joy of roasted sprouts with olive oil and a little spice. I added Parmesan because cheese makes anything better. They have pleasantly surprised me with their crunchy outside and yummy inside, not to mention I feel way grown up eating them. We have also learned that they actually cook better if you don't cut them, so you even save yourself some time! So if you're searching for some new veggie options during Lent...give this one a try. And send a pic to your mom, or she may not believe you :) Ingredients: 1 pound Brussels Sprouts 2 tablespoons Olive Oil 3/4 teaspoon Sea Salt Ground Black Pepper 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder Parmesan Cheese Put into a 400 degree Fahrenheit oven for 30 - 35 minutes Shake up your sprouts half way through
